Well. Here's a problem that's good to have! You all have deluged the Hyatt Regency O'Hare to the point where you've filled up our initial room block. DON'T PANIC! This doesn't mean that there's no more rooms. There's still plenty of rooms available, we just had to work through the paperwork to have them added to our block. It appears that everything is up and running again and there's rooms for all...almost
Almost? Well, the unforeseen demand caused our room block to run into another group's room block for Thursday night (11/18/10). There are no more double rooms available for that night, only king rooms. What alternatives are there? Well, you can rent a king room for Thursday night then switch to a double room for the rest of the weekend. Or you can stick with a king room for the entire weekend. To facilitate this, the Hyatt does have a limited number of rollaway beds (available for a one-time fee of $25.00) and are renting more, but always have a plan B in case a rollaway isn't available! Also, this is a good time to mention that rollaway beds are only available in king rooms and suites - NOT in double rooms, due to space/fire code issues.
There is a small but finite chance that we will be able to obtain more doubles for Thursday night shortly before the convention, but I would not guarantee or make any plans based on that. All I can say is that we will keep working on that!
Finally, please note that Regency, Plaza, and Deluxe Suites are now sold out. There are two Panorama Suites still available, and many VIP Suites. If you're interested, please visit our Suite Request page.
